I was born in Bursa, Turkey in 1971. I am graduated from Maltepe Military High School in 1989 and from The Military Academy in 1993. As an infantry officer, I served as a unit commander at every level, a border regiment commander, a project officer at the strategic headquarters, and a branch manager. I am retired in 2020, having served in the Turkish Armed Forces for 27 years.
I started my painting and art education at high school and went on military academy. I painted some oil paintings between 1985-1993 and took part of some exhibitions with my school. After I am retired focused on painting and art. It was my dream since my school time. I have huge willingness in painting new artworks.
I have been working since three years in workshop with some painters, especially well known Turkish Painter Orhan GÜREL.
After all of these, I am taking great energy from painting visual things that appeal to me and I enjoy. I like to express vibrant colors in harmony, using light and shadow. Shortly I like Empressionism.
Light and shadow constitute a very important place in life. I really want and love to be able to reflect light and shadow in my paintings. Using light and shadow impressionism is very enjoyable. In my paintings, I trying to show light and shadow as impressionism. I like to paint oil, acrylic and water color artworks.
I was influenced by the general situation in the world and with the start of 2024, I performed abstract works called “Chaos Series. From time to time I like to make original flowers with watercolor. I think these flowers rest my soul.
I exhibited my works in a total of 15 exhibitions, one of which is an individual exhibition. One of them was in London.
